leadership coach + neuroscientist
Irene Salter, PhD, is a leadership coach with a doctorate in neuroscience. Her business, Inquiring Minds, helps purpose-driven leaders move from surviving to thriving. Her message is emotional and story-driven, full of campfire and adventure metaphors, and she needed illustration that could carry it.
Ramble Design created a recurring protagonist who travels the length of website, supporting the business’ mission and story. Ramble also joined Irene in the creation of the illustrations for her upcoming book - “Wanderlust: The Science of Why We Travel.”
The illustrations of both the protagonist and the publication needed to mesh. However, the book illustrations needed to be scientifically accurate, so detail was paramount. Ramble Design focused on Irene’s unique and outgoing personality paired with her love of adventure and science to come up with the tone of the illustrations.
